Online registration closes the Thursday before the start of the week at 5:00 PM.

Missed online registration? Visit a District Facility 9AM-4PM to register in person (if space is available).

Camp Kids is an 8-week summer camp for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Campers can participate in one or all of the weeks and are encouraged to join us for as many weeks as possible.

Every week features unique adventures and activities based on the weekly theme. Each Camp Kids site offers a variety of activities including active and passive games, arts and crafts, sports, and music.

The program is an OUTDOOR camp, please plan accordingly.

Please bring at least two snacks, lunch, sunscreen, and water daily. Camper Emergency information will be taken during the registration process.

Ages: 5-12 (birthdate required for registration)

  • Week 1 | 6/15-6/19: Back to the Furture: Lost in Time
    • Our Camp Kids time machine is on the fritz – every day we enter a new time period! Journey with us through the past as we make our way back to 2026!
  • Week 2 | 6/22-6/26: Summerween: Vampires vs. Werewolves
    • Spooky season came early at Camp Kids this year! Join us to find out who will win in a battle of fangs versus claws!
  • Week 3 | 6/29-7/3: Beetlemania: A Bug's Life *Both camps held at Ashton Park 7/3* 
    • It’s a fluttering frenzy – we’re buzzing into the perspective of bugs! Whether you're red and spotted or creepy and crawly, join us for a week full of gardening and flittering fun!
  • Week 4 | 7/6-7/10: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: Flipping Through Fiction
    • Pirates, and magic, and creatures, oh my! Our dear friend, The Author, has been trapped in Oz while writing his latest work! It’s up to Camp Kids to navigate through our favorite fictional lands and bring him back to the real world!
  • Week 5 | 7/13-7/17: Camp Kids Rock Out!
    • And 1, and a  2, and a 1, 2, 3, 4... Plug in your amps and tune your guitars, it’s time to jam out at Camp Kids! A week full of rhythm and musical whimsy, leading up to our Camp Kids Concert ♪
  • Week 6 | 7/20-7/24: Superhero Story Vol. II: Evil at Large (Superheroes vs. Villains)
    • The infamous villain, Mean Mr. Mustard, has made his grand escape and once again returned to Camp Kids! It’s a battle of Heroes and Villains, which side will you choose?
  • Week 7 | 7/27-7/31: A Letter to BigfootWeek 8 | 8/3-8/7: Camp Kids Spirit WeekEnd the summer off in good spirits at Camp Kids. Show off your wacky side with new styles every day of the week, and our annual Clash of Camps event!
    • It’s that time of year for Camp Kids to reconnect with our closest friend, Big Foot! Keep an eye out during our nature walks, you might catch a glimpse of the legend himself! 👣

Summer Camp Cancellations/Credits:

No refunds are issued for any summer camps at Mission Oaks. Instead, a credit voucher will be issued in lieu of a refund of fees, minus a $25 administrative fee per session/class. To request a credit, fill out the required online Request for Credit Form prior to the camp beginning. Credit vouchers may be redeemed toward the cost of any other district activity (class, program, trip, camp, etc.) within one year of the date originally issued.

  • A partial credit (50%) will be given for requests made more than two weeks prior to camp commencing, minus a $25 administrative fee per session/class.
  • No credit will be issued for requests made less than two weeks prior to camp commencing.
  • No credit will be issued for non-attendance of program days.
