Enjoy the short drive to Placerville, for the journey back to the days of the California Gold Rush.  Stroll the streets and shops of Historic downtown Placerville looking for interesting keepsakes and treasures in the local shops, then we will have lunch at the Heyday Cafe, before continuing on to the Gold Bug Mine to experience hard rock mining in its' original form.
