Request for Public Bids

Notice is hereby given that the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District (MORPD) invites sealed bids for the preparation of a District Master Plan Update. This contract will establish a comprehensive planning framework to guide the District’s operations, facilities, and role within the community. The completed Master Plan will serve as a strategic blueprint for future development, investment, and long-term success throughout the District.

Bid specifications and proposal packets will be available on the District’s website at www.MORPD.com beginning Wednesday, February 6.

This project is a public works contract and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). In accordance with Labor Code Section 1725.5, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded a contract unless currently registered with the DIR.

Interested bidders must register in advance with the District by submitting their firm’s name and contact information via email to JRHichborn@MORPD.com no later than Wednesday, February 18

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District Office, located at 3344 Mission Avenue, Carmichael, CA 95608, Attention: J.R. Hichborn, Parks Superintendent. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

All bids must be submitted using the forms contained in the official bid packet. Proposals submitted in any other format will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered.

The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to reject any or all bids.
