Elementary Boys Basketball
Hit the court and have some fun! Our Youth Recreational Basketball League gives players of all experience levels the opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals, develop their skills, build teamwork, and enjoy friendly competition. With a focus on sportsmanship and growth, it's the perfect place to build confidence and foster a love for the game.
Who:
2nd/3rd and 4th/5th grade elementary boys
Program is available to area schools.
When:
December 6th, 2026 - January 24th, 2027
**We do not practice or play over SJUSD holidays**
Where:
Practices are held at district elementary schools. Game locations will be distributed after the first week of practice.
Cost:
$120 per participant. Fees include jerseys, coaches, gym time, referees, and scorekeepers.
Practices:
Practice times will vary between 2:45 and 8 pm depending on gym space and coach availability. You will be contacted by email a couple of days before practice begins with times and locations. Additionally, some practices will be held outside due to limited gym space.
Games:
All 2/3 & 4/5 games will be held on Sundays. Information on the location, dates, and times of these games will be handed out after the first week of the program.
Registration:
Registration opens August 12th, 2026, on a first-come, first-serve basis and closes November 18th, 2026, or until teams are full. For more information, please contact us at sports@morpd.com or 916-570-2806.
