On this trip, we will have a docent-led tour of the town of Locke. It is one of the only almost all Chinese communities in America. It was built in 1915 and was a thriving community from 1920-1940's. This community had many businesses including grocery stores, gambling houses, brothels, slaughter houses, and restaurants. We will have lunch in the area.
