Explanation of Trip: Our adventure will take us to the quaint towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City. We will learn about the local history including historical buildings, museums, and cultural areas. We will visit the Historic Firehouse #1, a museum, and the St Joseph Cultural Center. We will learn about the various Native American tribes and the gold mining in the area. Bring money for lunch at a restaurant in the area.
