Explanation of Trip: On this trip, we will see spectacular snow from this past winter and will check out the museum at Donner Lake. The historic details of Truckee with its many novel ideas to make the town thrive are what makes this place intriguing. We will pick up deli sandwiches and have a picnic lunch by Donner Lake. The scenery will be spectacular as we make our way back on the old historic highway 40-Lincoln Highway.
