Michael was appointed to the MORPD Advisory Board of Directors by Supervisor Susan Peters on August 22, 2020. He is pleased to return to the park district board and continue to serve the residents in the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District.
Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to the board where he has served previously. During his prior service, he was instrumental in helping to acquire the YMCA property that is now part of Eastern Oak Park, the replacement of restrooms to meet ADA requirements, and the transfer of the Fire Station on Mission Avenue to house the MORPD maintenance department.
As a former soccer coach, the parks provided his children with a place to play organized sports as they were growing up. He looks forward to continuing to help the parks and recreation activities thrive for the residents in our district.
