Sunset Chefs

Come hungry to each class and be ready for a fast-paced, fun two-hour class. Recipes, ingredients, handouts and aprons are provided. You will get to sit down to eat a wonderful meal composed of what you have put together. Lastly, leftovers and a recipe packet will go home with you. Bon appétit!

This class is for students 8 years old and up. Students must have their hair tied up and wear closed toed shoes. No nuts will be used in any recipes. Substitutions of ingredients and/or recipes may be necessary due to current shortages at sources. Every effort will be made to avoid changes.

7/15/22 Quick Meals: You will be working with a variety of ingredients that roar with flavor to put together stunning recipes - BLT Burgers, Chicken Apple Toss Salad and Chocolate Bruschetta are what you are looking for in easy and delicious courses at mealtime. Quick, informative and fun recipes mean your efforts will result in compliments and recipe requests! Bon appétit!

8/19/22 Basics +: Bread Bowl Soup, Kaleidoscope Salad and Sunshine Smoothies. Fun, flavors, more fun and learning new techniques in the kitchen so that your guests love your recipes. For any reason, any season! Come hungry and ready to work (while possibly eating some ingredients while assembling recipes)… Fresh seasonal produce drive your recipes in this class.

Chef Terry Masten has studied in the culinary meccas of America, has taught cooking for over ten years in the Sacramento area and emphasizes sharing professional techniques to build your culinary skills.
