Project HYPE (Healthy Youth for Physical Excellence) is an award winning health and wellness program for youth. Specific measures will be taken to address COVID-19 and to keep sites safe. Participation spots will be limited to 39 max. and children will be placed in groups of 13 for the entire week. We are currently not accepting requests for child pairing preferences. All grouping will be based on age.
A team of highly motivated staff and volunteers plan an action packed schedule of sport & fitness activities, educational components, lessons on diet and nutrition, teambuilding games, and many more interactive activities tied to weekly themes listed below. This is not your basic day camp. Youth should expect to have fun while getting a work out, learn the ins and outs of health and wellness, and be motivated to live an active lifestyle. Program is an outdoor camp, please plan accordingly.
Changes to our program:
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we are currently experiencing, we have reevaluated everything about camp this summer. While some changes are by necessity, others are quite new and innovative. What remains the same, however, is our effort to stay connected to you, create a safe environment for our children, and deliver the high quality of care you have come to expect from us. We understand the scope of impact all this may have on you and your family, and for that we apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times and hope that we can work together to make this yet another great summer!
Check in/out- Parents will check in/out digitally with a program lead when they arrive to site, junior leaders will walk participants to their assigned groups. Parents will not be allowed to contact to leaders directly unless there is an issue or concern that they can not speak to the program lead about. Program leads will be wearing a mask during check in.
Mask- Staff will wear masks at all time. Participant swill wear mask at times when 6 ft of distance can not be maintained.
