The purpose of this class is to focus on mind to movement connection in order to evoke emotion as well as stay active. It is a new, fun, and fit approach to exercise through different forms and modalities of dance. Hip-hop dance is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art through its three main styles of popping, locking, and breaking. We will also be focusing on developing rhythm and coordination while encouraging individual style.
