Explanation of Trip: Come travel the Old Highway 40 with us. This is the old highway before the Interstate 80 was built. We will travel the back roads as this road crisscrosses Highway 80. We will visit small towns along the way, such as Newcastle, Bowman, Weimar and Dutch Flat. This highway beckons back to a time of chrome bumpers, water bags on the front of the radiator and Burma Shave signs on the side of the road.
