G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Teens) Project: Special Events

The G.O.A.T. Program is looking for hardworking, driven and community-oriented teens that are wanting to gain work experience, improve their community and make a difference all the while getting paid. 

This project was created by M.O.R.P.D. to help teens learn valuable work skills and experiences in a variety of different areas.

The GOAT Project Special Events will give teens an opportunity to volunteer at three of our special events during the spring and summer. After fully completing each session particpants will receive a $35 gift card. 

 

Teens: 13 to 17 years old

  • Any teens looking for job experience
  • Any teens in need of community service hours
  • Teams, youth groups, or other community organizations with Teens

Sessions:

1.  Easter Blast: Swanston Park, 2350 Northrop Ave, Sacramento

Date: Saturday, March 30, 2024, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm  

    Walk-thru Thur, March 28 6:00 pm

 

2.  Spring Carnival: Gibbons Park, 4701 Gibbons Drive, Carmichael

Date: Saturday, May 11, 2024    9:15 am – 2:15 pm 

    Walk-thru, Wednesday, May 8 6:00 pm

3.  Carmichael Red, White and Blue Celebration: La Sierra Community Center, 5325 Engle Rd, Carmichael

Date: Saturday, June 29, 2024, 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm

    Walk-thru, Thru, June 27 6:00 pm

 

There will be a 30-minute training and walk-through in the week leading up to the event.

 

You must attend the entire event to receive the gift card at the end. We encourage students to treat this program as a job and show up on time each day ready to work.
