Camp Oak Wood will officially begin on Monday, June 12! 

Camp Oak Wood is an immersive summer camp experience for 4–10-year-olds that evokes imagination, creativity, and of course fun! Each week is a new creative theme that is completely different from the last. There will be specially designed games and activities, arts, crafts, music, sports, and lots more.  

Please send campers with 2 snacks, lunch and a bottle of water. We will also be going to the splash pad during the week, so please send them with a swim suit to change into, a towel, and shoes or sandals that can get wet during splash pad time.

Week 1 (6/12 – 6/16) – Movie Mania

            It’s time for a summer Blockbuster! We will dance and play games to everyone’s favorite movie soundtracks, do crafts themed around some of our favorite movie characters, and much more!

Week 2 (6/19 – 6/23) – Welcome to Flavortown!

            Calling all foodies to come hang with us in flavor town. During this week we will have food-themed crafts and activities, and make a variety of snacks that are decadent, savory, and flavorful.

Week 3 (6/26 – 6/30) – Return of the Jedi

Do or do not, there is no try.   Are you one with the force?   Join us for Return of the Jedi where we will have Jedi/Sith Training, Battle of the Lightsabers, daily challenges, games, scavenger hunts, Star Wars themed art and science and much more.

Week 4 (7/3 – 7/7) – Party in the USA  *No Camp July 4*

            Come celebrate America’s birthday, where we will have many different red, white and blue-themed crafts, activities, and games. We have water fights, a water slide, and lots of fun!

Week 5 (7/10 – 7/14) – Shark Week

During Shark Week, we will have fun and engaging activities for campers to learn about the importance of sharks though the arts, crafts, interactive games, science experiments, and water activities.

Week 6 (7/17 – 7/21) – Christmas in July

            Get ready for a fun-filled week of holiday cheer during Christmas in July! Kids will enjoy festive activities such as ornament making, cookie decorating, and creating their own stockings. We'll also have holiday-themed games, sing-alongs, and even a visit from Santa Claus himself!

Week 7 (7/24 – 7/28) – Knights of the Round Table

            Campers will be transported to the world of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table! Throughout the week campers will embark on a series of quests that challenge them to solve, puzzles, overcome obstacles and work together to protect the Swanston castle.

Week 8 (7/31 – 8/4) – Smore’s and the Great Outdoors

Join us for the final week of summer break! We will explore the great outdoors with a variety of adventure themed arts, crafts and games throughout the week. We will end the week with a smores bar, ice cream and water gun fights!

Summer Camp Cancellations/Credits:

No refunds are issued for any summer camps at Mission Oaks. Instead, a credit voucher will be issued in lieu of a refund of fees, minus a $25 administrative fee per session/class. To request a credit, fill out the online Credit Form, a minimum of three (3) business weeks prior to the camp beginning. Credit vouchers may be redeemed toward the cost of any other district activity (class, program, trip, camp, etc.) within one year of the date originally issued.

• A partial credit (50%) will be given for requests made two weeks prior to camp commencing, minus a $25 administrative fee session/class.
• No credit will be issued for requests made less than two weeks prior to camp commencing.
• No credit will not be issued for non-attendance of program days.
