What is a Bootcamp workout class?
A boot camp workout is a type of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) — bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity. A boot camp workout also can include functional fitness, such as using whole-body, multijoint exercises that simulate movements people do in life.
Who: This class is recommended for Adults. However, it will accept participants no younger than 15 years old.This class focuses on weight loss and building lean muscle. The class challenges your body with different compound movements and exercises that are important for decreasing body fat and increasing muscle.

Location: Swanston Community Center - 2350 Northrop Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825
Dates/Time: Tuesday and Thursday, 6pm - 7pm
EXERCISE DESCRIPTION: Bootcamp will be structured in a group setting with exercise equipment such as resistance bands, free weights, step platforms, and yoga mats. The workout will consist of cardio and strength-related exercises for a certain amount of time.
FOR EXAMPLE (Perform the exercise for 30 seconds then rest for 15 seconds and repeat.)
