"Diagnosis Dementia"

 

This practical session will provide the most up-to-date information on the support systems and resources available to you help you and your family with this difficult diagnosis.  Larry Dawes is a certified geriatric care manager with a Master's degree in social work and has been serving the aging community for over 20 years.  Larry will share realistic insights about dementia disorders and how to productively cope with this disease.

Don't miss this 60 member symphonic orchestra from American River College as they perform in the warm, intimate atmosphere of the Mission Oaks Community Center.  You'll feel like you are sitting among the musicians as they play.  All ages are welcome to this informal hour of music - come as you are!

It's hard to believe, but it's time to start thinking about shopping for those special gifts and holiday decorations again.  Our vendors offer unique gifts and decoration for all your holiday needs.  If you have items to sell, don't forget to reserve your spot at the hottest faire in town!

Pancake Breakfast

DATE: First Saturday of the month

TIME: 8:30am

FEE: $3.00

LOCATION: Mission Oaks Community Center

Two light, delicious, warm pancakes, a tasty patty of sausage, Log Cabin syrup, tea and coffee, are served the first Saturday of each month, and all for only $3.00! Serving time is from 8:30a.m. until 10:00a.m. by the center’s Wednesday Club. This is the club’s only fund raiser and the members would appreciate your support!

Weekly Ballroom Dances

FEE: $5.00/person
