Individual Tennis Lessons

DATE: Seasonal, February to October

TIME: Various (arrange up with the instructor)

FEE: $90.00 for 3, one-hour lessons

LOCATION: Gibbons Park, 4701 Gibbons Drive, Carmichael
AGES: 6 - 14 (Youth), or 15+ (Adult)

Lessons are set up individually with the instructor. Times and dates will be determined by you and our USTA Certified instructor. Payment will be made to the District Office after lessons are scheduled.


This program provides 3 hours of tennis instruction for the Beginner and Intermediate tennis player. For the Beginners, all aspects of the game are introduced: forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. Rules of the game, court etiquette, and scoring will also be covered. Singles and doubles play will emphasize court positioning and strategy. For the Intermediate players who can rally fairly consistently, drills and matches with an emphasis on developing techniques will be taught. Students need to provide their own racquet. Students are to wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing.
