Project H.Y.P.E. (Healthy Youth for Physical Excellence) A program of the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District, Project HYPE was created in 2009 as a free resource to kids and families in our community to learn the importance of physical activity, healthy eating and lifestyles, and a lot more. The hub of the program is an 8-week commitment based program for kids aged 10-15 that runs during the summer at Swanston Park. However, outside partnerships grant participants with opportunities to visit awesome places like the Sacramento State Ropes Course, California Family Fitness for personal training days, and evening games with the Sacramento Rivercats. Our last HYPE day was an absolute success with activities, a visit from a personal trainer, Vince Singletary, a fun nutrition lesson and a delicious snack! Now with the end of the school year we are putting all of our effort into planning an awesome summer camp for more information or to register for FREE Call (916)-333-6464!
Project HYPE Summer Application Forms Project HYPE summer applications are now available online in English and Spanish.
