Swanston Splash Park Open Weekends

 Updated Tuesday, 2 September 2008

Balloons, decorations, great weather and a LOT of people were key ingredients to a great Labor Day Weekend at Swanston Park. The Splash Park was the perfect touch for those park goers using Swanston this past weekend.

From here until Sunday, October 12, the Splash Park will be open on weekends only. Saturdays and Sundays, the park will be on from 10-7pm. The park will officially close for the season after the 12th. So make sure you head over and check out the Swanston Splash Park before summer is over!!!

Read more about the Swanston Splash Park here.

Things to remember about the splash park:

  • DO NOT DRINK THE WATER!
  • Please shower, preferably at home, before playing in the splash park. We suggest that you also rinse off after splashing.
  • Diapers MUST be covered with rubber pants.  Changing of diapers in the splash park area is forbidden.
  • Anyone who has been ill within the last two weeks is asked to not enter the water.
  • Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the splash park.
  • Swimsuits and appropriate footwear are highly recommended.
  • Smoking is not allowed within 25 feet of the area.
  • The splash park will not be open when steady wind exceeds 12 miles per hour, nor when air quality is deemed unhealthy for outdoor activities.
